Story Behind the Bag

We painted this gunmetal gray and taupe bag in our luscious metallics to compliment the vintage mother-of-pearl bow. The over-size Art Deco bow began as a (circa 1930's) hair clip, discovered during Art Deco weekend in Queensland, New Zealand. We pried the back off and cemented the hearty bow to this square-shaped geometric clutch. We wanted it to be simple yet geometric to compliment the lines of the bow and pay homage to the Deco era.
