Story Behind the Bag

With an over-sized diaper pin at four and a half inches long, we knew it would make a great conversation piece for a clutch. We found it in an antique shop in Queensland, New Zealand (we're thinking circa 1940s) and paired it with a simple royal blue and golden tan clutch. We signed the piece in the same brassy signature. The number 29 is embossed on top which symbolizes compassion and diplomacy (also an appropriate bag for a new mother or mother-to-be)! The 29th is my daughter's birthday too - good luck all the way!
