Story Behind the Bag

We get lots of requests for these long chic clutches - they do make a statement and hold more than the average bag. This patchwork was painted with earth tone colors in metallic-based paints then highlighted with brassy golds. It needed a statement topper, so we made our own. We used a clay base and added one-off adornments we've been collecting for years: a piece from a bone hairpin, a vintage earring, old buttons, a butterfly and a champagne cork.
