Story Behind the Bag

We painted this green and gold clutch with a dry brush over a slightly textured matte base and used various green paints and bright gold ink for some depth of color.  The intricate braided flower brooch (stamped on the back side) is a classic 1950's Monet - these designer brooches were very popular and worn on jacket pockets by the well-heeled women in their day.
