This composition gold (yellow gold with ribbons of a darker muted gold) is the perfect subtle backdrop for this very elegant vintage brooch. We love it's large dark, dark sapphire blue gemstones and, though they look authentic, are not sure of its value (part of the attraction of these vintage pieces).
