Story Behind the Bag

Colorful flower pins were a popular theme in the 1960's and 1970's. Due to its enamel composition, we think this daisy brooch is vintage 1960's (so we've been told). We paired with a solid gold over the same deep burgundy red to highlight the brooch's shine and colors. Its name, translated to "days eye," was born because of the way the petals curled inwards during darkness and then spread out wide at the first sight of the sun in the morning.
