Story Behind the Bag

We found these shiny over-sized bows on different occasions, within a span of several years but think their vintage (circa 1950's) and maker (difficult to read the stamp) are the same. Even their centers, embedded with tiny crystals are similar; only their metal base - gunmetal silver and bright yellow gold - remain different. We highlighted these differences in the geometric pattern of the bag, squaring it off with paint to match the square-shape of the bag. We love that it can be worn with both silver and gold. Classic elegance.
