Multi-colored Patchwork with Amethyst Brooch

Story Behind the Bag

We are typically painting 4-5 patchwork bags at a time - our favorite bags to paint and detail.... also, they never, ever turn out as expected!!  We painted this one in tones of reds and pinks with some bronze, blacks and neutrals thrown in (so it will go with almost anything - jeans and a cute solid top ALWAYS work!). With shades of gold, tan, browns and black, it is one of our favorite neutrals. The cloudy Amythest and gold jeweled earring (yes!) highlights some of the colors on the bag and adds a tiny bit of glam.
