Story Behind the Bag

Inspired by this vintage hand-hammered brooch inlaid with a topaz gem, we sealed this bag with a matte finish to replicate the finish on the brooch. One of our painting techniques is known as "dry brushing" which leaves a textured appearance of brush strokes on the canvas. The tones of navy, cream and gold are painted in a composition pattern, with subtle tones of gold allowing the hammered topaz brooch to shine.
