Story Behind the Bag

[SALE] We discovered this over-sized vintage brooch in a boutique down a side-street in Asheville. With the perfect size and great brass patina, we knew we had to have it. We painted this multi-colored neutral patchwork for its backdrop. With four shades of gold and black, it picks up all of the hues of this fascinating brooch. The evil eye is known throughout many cultures as a protection for the person wearing it to ward off evil spirits and bad luck. It is a protective symbol for good fortune.
